The probiotics include highly researched live yeasts plus bacteria providing highly concentrated (18 Billion CFU per maintenance dose) and have a role in reducing hindgut acidosis without artificial buffers.

With 10x more probiotics per dose compared to leading competitor ‘probiotics’ and especially formulated for horses, and NOT for all types of other animals too.

Acid imbalance in the hindgut can cause serious problems, including acidic build up, hindgut ulcers or ‘cow-pat’ manure. Hindgut starch overload is not uncommon in horses consuming high starch diets. 

Specific live yeasts help digestion of fiber sources to maintain condition in ‘hard keeper’ or ‘poor-doer’ horses.

Gastro Coat® and 𝐅𝐀𝐁𝐁𝐘® are two different supplements with separate focus areas but provide a complementary and targeted action with different active ingredients that have specific separate actions.

𝐅𝐀𝐁𝐁𝐘® and Gastro-Coat® are also fed in different ways and times – 𝐅𝐀𝐁𝐁𝐘® is perfect as a supplement in the horses’ normal feed daily, whereas Gastro-Coat® is often given as a pre-exercise supplement before ridden work or travelling, in a small feed or an oil paste.

𝐅𝐀𝐁𝐁𝐘® is particularly beneficial to poor ‘doers’ or hard keepers and aged horses which often require more food to maintain adequate condition and weight. 
Providing a daily dose of 𝐅𝐀𝐁𝐁𝐘® to these types of horses to maintain condition may reduce the need for excessive hard feeds or extra hay. 

 𝐅𝐀𝐁𝐁𝐘® is very suitable and helpful for good doer or easy keeper horses and ponies.  In good-doer horses, 𝐅𝐀𝐁𝐁𝐘® has been trialed and tested with many sugar-sensitive horses, even laminitic or insulin resistant ponies, as a safe and helpful supplement. 

Although 𝐅𝐀𝐁𝐁𝐘® helps put on weight and keep normal condition in poor doers, it doesn’t do the same for good doers which can be considered to already have ‘maximum yield’ capacity from hindgut digestion.

𝐅𝐀𝐁𝐁𝐘® does not contain any banned substances or contravene the Rules of Racing or FEI Competition.

𝐅𝐀𝐁𝐁𝐘® does not swab and is completely legal to be used with all performance horses in FEI competitions. 

For use in racehorses, we recommend that you follow local guidelines on use of any supplements prior to race day.

Each scoopful LARGE END of 𝐅𝐀𝐁𝐁𝐘® provides 30 grams, each scoopful SMALL END provides 12 grams.
For horses with serious digestive inability, loose manure or scouring problems, provide between 60 – 120 grams daily for 2 – 6 weeks, or as required. 
For ponies, provide 30 – 60 grams. 
After the initial period, most horses can be reduced to the maintenance supplementation rate of 30 grams, or 12 grams for a pony.
For a daily premium digestive supplement, the normal supplementation rate is 30 grams for horses or 12 grams for ponies in their daily feed.

Can be crushed to a fine powder for oral administration via syringe or tube. Safe for foals.
