Promectin® Plus – Allwormer Paste for Horses is a highly effective and broad-spectrum wormer specifically designed to treat internal parasites including tapeworms. Key Ingredients:

Praziquantel: Each gram of Promectin® Plus contains 46.2 mg of praziquantel, which targets tapeworms and effectively eliminates them.

Abamectin: With 3.7 mg of abamectin per gram, this ingredient targets a wide range of internal parasites including large and small strongyles, pinworms, ascarids, bots, lungworms, and more.

Dosage Instructions:

For optimal results, administer Promectin® Plus orally at the recommended rate of 0.2 mg/kg abamectin and 2.5 mg/kg praziquantel. The syringe plunger is conveniently marked to deliver the appropriate amount of paste for each 50 kg of bodyweight. The entire contents of this syringe are designed to treat a total of 600 kg of bodyweight.

To ensure comprehensive parasite control, it is recommended to include all horses in a regular parasite control program. Pay special attention to mares, foals, and yearlings. For a customized control program tailored to your specific needs, consult a veterinarian who can provide expert guidance.

Withholding Period(s):

If your horses are intended for meat production or consumption, please note the following withholding period requirements: Horses producing meat or offal for human consumption must not be sold for slaughter either during treatment or within 63 days of the last treatment.
